Please note that all rented toys must have been returned, arrived, and been checked-in at the mytoylibrary facility before your subscription can be fully canceled. As such please give sufficient amount of time (at least 5 working days) before the end of your billing cycle for your toys to be shipped back and checked in to avoid being charged for the next billing cycle. Refunds will not be issued for new billing cycle charges while waiting for your toys being returned to arrive, even if you have given notice to cancel before the start of the next blling cycle.
When you cancel your subscription, your recurring payments stop, but any active subscription will continue until the end of its pay period.
Pay Monthly: Your membership will end at the end of the month
Pay Every 6-months: Your membership ends at the end of your current 6-months period
Pay Yearly: Your membership ends at the end of your already paid yearly period
Our Toys
Safety and hygiene are of utmost importance to us and so we start by sourcing toys that made from natural materials and finishes, such as solid wood with water based paint and beeswax finishes that a shown to be safe for our little ones.
All our toys are sent to our facility when they are returned, or when a swap is made, where each item is rigorously checked, cleaned, and disinfected before they are made available for play again. We use a natural disinfectant and sanitizer that is certified and proven to kill 99.9% of viruses and bacteria, including "...Influenza A, Salmonella, and Listeria when used as directed." It is also EPA rated for use against SARS-CoV-2 virus that causes the Coronavirus (Covid-19) disease. It is very likely that our toys are cleaner than the second-hand toys children interact with at school settings and daycares.
Yes! We only make use of toys that are in strict accordance with regulations by the Toy Safety Directive that regulates toy safety in the EU, as well as other aplicable regulations. This directive lays down safety criteria that toys must meet before they can be marketed in the EU. Safety of our children is always our top priority.
Remember, you can keep our toys for as long as you want with no late fees or due dates, but yes, subject to approval, you can purchase any loved toy and keep forever.
We use a residual value calculation to determine what it would cost for you to purchase the toy to keep permanently, so you never get to pay more than the retail value of the toy. We will also return the corresponding Library Coin value of the toy back to your account, available for you to use to checkout other toys from our library.
We also have other possible ways to allow your child keep any loved toy forever, so contact us with your request for a loved toy you will like to keep forever. All requests are subject to approval.
We definitely expect that every toy will be used and played with and so we understand the possibility of light wear and tear. As such, we provide allowance for fair wear and tear. We do ask that you inform us as soon as possible, and although we have and default to our defined residual value system for determining replacement cost, we know every case is different, and so we like to treat each event on a case by case basis.
Some things we consider include:
• Can the toy still be played with as intended?
• Is the toy still safe for use and play?
• Can the toy be repaired?
• The condition of the toy

The Toy Residual value is a calculation we use to determine the replacement cost or fee charged when a toy is damaged and need to be replaced. Rather than charge the full cost of the toy, we take the time the toy has already used by the customer into consideration, against a small and customer-favorable lifetime use of 1-year (in most cases).
We take the retail value of the toy and the number of months you have had the toy, and divide by 12 months.
For example: If you have a toy that is worth €20, and you have been borrowing the toy for 9 months (therefore 12 - 9 = 3), the residual value to be charged is (€20 x 3) ÷ 12 = €5
In this way, you never get charged more than the retail value of the toy.
We also use the Residual value formula as a guide for toys you would like to keep forever. Contact us at hello@mytoylibrary.com with your request to help calculate the residual value for your toy.
Currently 0 - 5 Years
A lot of our toys can be enjoyed by both younger and older kids alike, even adults, however, we are currently focusing on ages 0-4 years, but with a plan to soon serve 0-8 years of age in the coming months.
Nonetheless, regardless of your child'd age, we recommend you look through our growing library of toys and see if there are any your child might like to try or test.
Yes, we'd love to receive your gently loved quality toys that we can share with others. As a member, we'll even reward you with more library credit for each quality toy you donate or trade in, to allow you rent someting else from the library.

Library Credit
Library Credit is a credit system we use to give you more value and better personalize the worth of your membership.
We use Library Credit to give you value up to seven times (7x) more than waht you pay, and help you manage your child's playtime. It also the means by which you are able to rent and choose from any toy in our library.

When you subscibe and become a member, we immediately assign you library credit value in Euros corresponding to your chosen plan.

Each membership plan gives you a different amount of library credit that you can use to rent toys from library of toys.
Shipping, Swaps, and Returns
You can easily make a swap or return your toys by initiating a return process from the top of the home page, or your account page. This lets us know to expect your return and credit your account with the corresponding Library Coins.
1. Log in to your account on mytoylibrary.com and on your the Dashboard on your account page, click on "Swap or Return a toy". You will need your order number to help find your order; Your order number can be found on your order page that is also located on your dashboard, or from your emails. Complete the steps to initiate your return.
2. We will email you a return label if it was not already included in your toy box when it was delivered. You will also receive a refund of Library Coins for the toy(s) you are returning. This will allow you to immediately pick out new toys.
(Unless you have free shipping credit, we will send you the invoice for your return label to your email address shortly. Once you complete payment, you will receive the label by email.)
3. To help our sustainability goals, we encourage re-using the box the toys came in. Pack the toys as tight as you can to limit movement, and close up the box using the eco-friendly packing tape we provided. Attach the label to the box and drop off at the delivery center specified. We will prepare and send your new toy-pack as soon as we receive your return.

At this time, we ship to home addresses on mainland Spain. We currently do not ship to the Spanish islands.
We also ship to a few countries within the EU economic area, including Germany, France, Belgium, Netherlands, and Portugal without any extra custom duties.
As often as you want. Our free shipping offer provides you free standard deliveries to your home, and returns from your home when you are ready for a swap.
You can choose from one of our different shipping options that will be made available to you at checkout.
We use different shipping partners, and prices vary based on the size and weight of the overall package being sent.
On average, shipping costs: approx. €4.67 each way for a standard package, and approx. €9.23 for larger items. We strive to charge you only what it takes us to ship the toys to you
To send your toy(s), use the printed label we send you with your order if you have free shipping, otherwise we will provide you a link to quickly purchase your shipping label at preferred rates, to attach to the package.
Reuse the same box we sent you, and follow the instructions on your shipping label to either drop off the package at a mail center, or to arrange pickup.
Our standard boxes we send you fall within the size of boxes that Correos or our other shipping partners will accept. They are perfect for reuse. Let us know at hello@mytoylibrary.com if you have any questions.
No, this is part of the beauty of our membership. You can keep any toy for as long as you want or for as long as the toy is loved.
You can return as many or as few toys you want from an order or any specific unloved or no longer used toys.
You can swap your toys as often as you want!
We ship the toys to you in significantly less packaging than what comes from the manufacturer. This helps support our sustainability goals by allowing us save significant amounts of energy from transportation and recycling.
We send your toys unboxed in eco-friendly cotton bags, delivered in mytoylibrary cardboard boxes that can be neatly flat packed and saved for reuse to swap or return your toys.
We include VAT taxes in our membership prices, and so no other taxes are charged. Any shipping costs also include local VAT and any import duties within the EU.
If you live in Switzerland or Norway, you will not have to pay any import duties. All our toys are shipped from Spain within the EU economic zone. Questions? Contact us here by email or send us a chat below.
Promotions
Yes, we occasionally offer promotions and discounts to surprise and delight our members and followers. You can signup for our email updates below, and follow us on Instagram and Facebook to get early access to new toys, updates, discounts, events, promotions, and more fun ideas for your child's play and development.
It only applies to new customers that create and start their membership plans with us during an active promotion. It applies to one promotional use only, per family. All promotions are subject to mytoylibrary, its parent company, and its officers discretion, and can be stopped, changed, or canceled for any reason.
When we offer our Free for 30 days, 60 days, or 90 days promotion, you are able to try our "Play Pack" membership FREE for 30, 60, or 90 days. These promotions always only apply to our Play Pack membership plan that is paid every 6-months, or yearly.
How it works? Simply choose a Play Pack member plan that is pre-paid either Every 6-months, or Yearly, and follow the process to pay, receive your Library Coins, and begin borrowing toys.
If the service is not for you, you can cancel your plan anytime within the promotional period, we will refund back to your card the full amount paid, once all borrowed toys have been returned.
If you like the service and continue with mytoylibrary past the promotional period, we will refund you the cost of the promotional period for the Play Pack membership pay period chosen.
We process the free days promotions this way to help us guard against theft of our toys and those that might want to abuse the offer.
Free month(s) promotions or offers provide free access to the mytoylibrary toy share service as specified in your specific promition or offer, for the amount of time specified.
You can cancel the service anytime within the free month(s) offered without incurring any additional charge (as long as all toys have been returned and the cancelation process followed as outlined). Accounts cannot be canceled without all toys returned, received, and checked-in.
Please note that at the end of the free month(s) offered, the active plan continues automatically billing your card on file for the new pay period, according to the plan you are actively on.
If you would like to cancel your account before any billing takes effect, please see question on how to cancel your account above. To avoid any unnecessary charges, make sure to give sufficient time (at least 5 working days) for your rented toys to be returned, received, and checked-in at the mytoylibrary facility before the new pay period begins. No refunds will be issued as a result of charges from a new pay period, while waiting for toys to be received.
