What is My Toy Library doing?
We want to make it affordable for all children to play. You pay only a fraction of the toy's cost when you rent it. We also sell new toys at reasonable prices.
Why My Toy Library doesn't have an outlet?
We operate out of cyberspace to save on expensive retail space, which we pass on to you. We are however, one button away at MSN : mytoylibrary@hotmail.com.

Why should I become a member?
You must register with us and provide us with your particulars before we can serve you.
Must I pay for registration?
Registration is absolutely free. You only pay when you start renting or buying toys.
Renting Toys
Must I pay a deposit when renting toys?
My Toy Library does NOT require you to pay a deposit. This will allow you to rent more toys.
How do you calculate the rental?
We allow you to rent and return any day but our charges are calculated weekly. That means, if you rent a toy for 12 days (1 week and 5 days), you will be charged for 2 weeks rental.
Are the toys clean?
Hygiene is our top priority. Our toys are carefully cleaned and sanitized using disinfectant when you return them to us. They are then sealed using shrink wrap and stored away. We double check the condition of the toys prior to delivery again just to be sure. However, should the toys arrive in less than satisfactory condition, you can always return them to us at no charge.
What if the toy I rent is damaged or broken?
We inspect our toys carefully while cleaning them and will replace any broken parts. If however, you still find that the toys you rent is damaged, just let us know and we will replace it for you.
Why is there a charge for lost or damaged toys?
We believe in nurturing children through play. This includes developing a sense of responsibility towards toys so that other children can play with it too. Damaged parts have to be replaced.
What is part replacement charge? And why are some so high?
Some toys come in multiple parts. When parts are damaged or lost, we would need to replace them. Depending on our toy suppliers, some parts can be bought separately while others cannot. Those that cannot be replaced with have a higher replacement charge.
How do I know that my rental/purchase is successful?
We will send you a confirmation email when we receive your rental/purchase.
Can I renew my rental?
Yes, you can renew your rental online. Login into My Toy Library and go into Order History.
How long can I rent a toy?
We have limited the total rental period (including renewal) to 2 months consecutively (inclusive of renewal). This is to allow other children to learn and play with those toys you like as well. You can however, request for a longer period if you so wish.
How soon can I rent a toy?
After you enter your order, we take 2 days to process your order.
Returning Rented Toys
When will My Toy Library collect back the toys I rent?
We will call you 2 to 3 days before the return date for confirmation.
Why must I pack the toys back into the original packets when returning the toys?
Some of our toys come in multiple parts. We have packed them into packets for easy identification. When you help us to pack the toys back into the original packets, we can easily count the parts and make more delivery/collection per day, reducing cost, which we pass back to you.
Rental Renewal
Can I renew a loan?
To renew a loan, logon to our website and then click on the 'Order History' link and select a Delivery Order for renewal. You can only renew the whole DO and not selectively renew items on the DO.
For how long a period can I renew?
Your total rental period (including renewal) should not exceed 2 months.
Buying Toys
I am from overseas. Can I buy the toys?
Yes, you can purchase toys even if you are not in Singapore. We will advise you on the shipping charges prior to delivery. We will ship it to you only when you agree on the delivery charges.
How much is the shipping cost?
Depending on where you want us to ship to, we will arrange for the most economical and safe way to ship your order and advise you accordingly prior to shipment.
Delivery
Why is delivery charged as per trip (one way) instead of per order?
We figured that is the most cost effective arrange for you. If you arrange new toy rental such that the delivery date coincide with the return date of your current rental, you would save on the delivery charge. Delivery charge is only $5 per trip (one way).
Can delivery charges be waived?
Absolutely! Spending above $70 (excluding delivery fee) in a single delivery order entitles you to free delivery.
Where do you delivery to?
Delivery and collection is anywhere within Singapore.
Can I set the delivery time?
We allow you to select time zones: Morning (9am to 12pm), Afternoon (1pm to 5pm) and Evening (6pm to 9pm) so that we can plan our trip and maximize the number of delivery trips thus lowering cost. This is how we keep our delivery charges low.
Payment
How do I pay for my purchases?
We accept cash or cheques. Cheques should be made payable to "My Toy Library". We will request for payment upon the delivery of the toys.
Alert List
What happens if the toys I want to rent/buy has insufficient quantity?
You can add them to the alert list. You will be alerted via email of the availability of the toys in your alert list as and when they become available.
